Want to be a part of helping an organization from the ground up?

We are currently looking for volunteers to assist us with achieving
SMILE's mission by helping us with fundraising, working at and planning
events and publicity/marketing. For example handing out flyers,
participation in a bowl-a-thon or other fundraising event.

Data Department

•        Maintain database information on clients, contractors and volunteers
•        Look up address information
•        Verify current contact information
•        Research statistical data


Production Department

•        Assist with design of flyers, signs, and/or advertising material
•        Type letters and/or print file
•        Copy materials as needed
•        Communicate with media for special events


Correspondence Department

•        Collate and stuff envelopes
•        Address and stamp envelopes
•        Deliver to post office or schedule pickup
•        Open and distribute mail to Board Chairs
•        Log donations and in-kind contributions
•        Write out tax deductible receipts

Fundraising Department

•        Preparing and Distributing Invitations
•        Assist with marketing campaigns
•        Assist with Event Planning
•        Assist with Event set-up
•        Ticket selling and promoting

Child Care Department

  • Responsible for watching and playing movies and games with client’s
    children while their parents are in class.

Support Group Leader
For Master’s or PhD students, Licensed Psychologists, LPC’s or LMFT’s only
  • Leads therapeutic support groups
  • Some groups require administering & scoring assessments
  • Possibility for some individual or family therapy
